Academy Nominations

Congressman Gregg Harper has the privilege of nominating a limited number of students each year to four of the five service academies. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.

On April 1, 2017, Congressman Harper hosted his eighth annual Military Academy Day at Madison Central High School (1417 Highland Colony Parkway, Madison, MS 39110). High school students preparing for college in the approaching years and considering the military service academies option attended the event along with Junior high students.

The deadline for all information to be completed and submitted to our office is December 1, 2017.

This site will be updated with more information about the Spring 2018 Military Academy Day as we get closer to the date.

For more information, please review Congressman Harper’s page of Frequently Asked Questions for those seeking a Military Academy Nomination.

Best wishes to you as you pursue your goal of attending one of America’s prestigious U.S. Military Academies and serving the United States.
