Dear Friend,

This was another busy week in Washington and in Mississippi! In addition to several important votes and hearings, I had the opportunity to meet with a number of constituent groups and families from Mississippi to hear more about the issues that impact them, their businesses, and their communities.

I want to share with you just a few of the highlights from the week and some of my favorite photos!

American Cancer Society – Cancer Action Network

This photo was taken on the Speaker’s Balcony of the U.S. Capitol with our Mississippi representatives of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, who were in Washington this week.

WallBuilders Pastors Briefing

This week, I had the honor of speaking to over 100 pastors from 25 states who were in Washington, D.C. attending the WallBuilders Pastors Briefing at the Library of Congress.

Taiwan Letter of Intent Signing

I participated in a signing ceremony of letters of intent between Taiwan and the Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission and U.S. Grains Exporters to continue agricultural and trade relations.

ARC Grant – City of Starkville

Today, along with Mike Armor with the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), I had the honor of presenting the City of Starkville a grant award for infrastructure and safety enhancements.
